Yeah, Mr. Smiley. Made it through the entire Trump presidency without being enslaved. Imagine that.

American Big Man VII: Big Man Grows a Whole Size

Today I read in the Washington Post that "the party in charge" is continuing to pursue the undermining of the FISA court:

The bill would allow the NSA to eavesdrop, without a warrant, for up to 45 days per case, at which point the Justice Department would have three options. It could drop the surveillance, seek a warrant from FISA's court, or convince a handful of House and Senate members that although there is insufficient evidence for a warrant, continued surveillance "is necessary to protect the United States," according to a summary the four sponsors provided yesterday. They are Mike DeWine (Ohio), Lindsey O. Graham (S.C.), Chuck Hagel (Neb.) and Olympia J. Snowe (Maine).

You have got to be in Awe on the actually balls on these folk to actually put in writing a law that effectively nullifies the Fourth Amendment. Oh, we don't have any grounds for the eavesdropping but let us continue on anyway. We need to protect the US. How long until this goes down to the state level. "We need to do x y or z in order to "protect the citizens." Anything goes to 'protect the citizens."

Oh but this isn't the worst part. Well maybe it is, but in another development the "Party in Charge" is attempting to make sure that no other person actually attempts to inform the people on the illegal activities of the U.S. Government:

The bill introduced yesterday calls for fines of up to $1 million and prison terms of up to 15 years for those who disclose "classified information related to the Terrorist Surveillance Program," the administration's name for the NSA operation. The penalties would not apply to journalists.

Oh I see. If you whistleblow on the government you should go to Jail and pay up to $1 million. However, should you be the actual person breaking the law you get..what? Ummm..that's right; a free ride! I mean this is the definition of Ass backwards. Yes folks, these are the people that more than 50% of Americans put into office on account of being scared to death of Homosexuals and Abortions. Not to worry people! you can be spied on, grabbed off the street and imprisoned indefinitely and any-damn-place on the planet. You can have feds show up at your job if you speak well of Hugo Chavez but by golly them damn gays can't get married and that girl raped by her dad will have that baby!

the "representatives" in the representative government forgot what they were supposed to represent and are giving the bushites carte blanche to take away rights .

when asked about sagging support for their administration in the polls , cheney today said he and bush don't care about "background noise."

the majority of americans are voicing their disapproval of the job dick and dub are doing --and he calls "the voice of the people"--which is supposedly the "piper" calling the tune in a so-called democracy-- "background noise".

and the so-called "free press" and the so-called opposition party and it's so-called leadership--again roll over and play dead like trained dogs...where's bill ? where's ted ? where's hillary? where's ole jimmy ? where's kerry , edwards , and gore ?

the whole freaking game is rigged --or in the immortal words of 'jah rule' --"this a clip joint we in "

and where's jesse and sharpton and the usual assorted variety of negro "leadership" ?

...well here's "officially bought-off and paid for negro" kenny blackwell --running for ohio governor and seeking the help of white supremacists...

"Why did J. Kenneth Blackwell seek, then hide, his association with super-rich extremists and e-voting magnates?

March 10, 2006

The man who stole the 2004 election for George W. Bush -- Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell -- has posted a picture of himself addressing the white supremacist ultra-right Council for National Policy (CNP). He then pulled the picture and tried to hide his participation in the meeting by removing mention of it from his website, kenblackwell.com.

First discovered by a netroots investigator (uaprogressiveaction.com), Blackwell's photo at the CNP meeting was found on Blackwell's website on Monday, March 6. Then it mysteriously disappeared.

Blackwell has ample reason to hide his ties to the CNP. When the Free Press investigated the CNP and its ties to the Republican Party, Chip Berlet of Political Research Associates told the paper that the CNP included "a former Ku Klux Klan leader and other segregationist policies." Berlet emphasizes that these "shocking" charges are easy to verify.

Berlet describes CNP members as not only traditional conservatives, but also nativists, xenophobes, white racial supremacists, homophobes, sexists, militarists, authoritarians, reactionaries and "in some cases outright neo-fascists."

Some well-known figures affiliated with the CNP include Rev. Jerry Falwell, anti-feminist Phyllis Schlafly and the Rev. Pat Robertson. But its the lesser-known CNP mainstays that are more indicative of the organization's politics. They include:

* Richard Shoff, a former Ku Klux Klan leader in Indiana.
* John McGoff, an ardent supporter of the former apartheid South African regime.
* R.J. Rushdoony, the theological leader of America's "Christian Reconstruction" movement, which advocates that Christian fundamentalists take "dominion" over America by abolishing democracy and instituting Old Testament Law. Rushdoony's Reconstructionalists believe that "homosexuals . . . adulterers , blasphemers, astrologers and others will be executed," along with disobedient children.
* Reed Larson, head of anti-union National Right to Work Committee.
* Don Wildmon, TV censorship activist and accused anti-Semite.
* Lieutenant-Colonel Oliver North, Major General John K. Singlaub and other principals from the Iran-Contra Scandal.

Investigative reporter Russ Bellant, author of OLD NAZIS, THE NEW RIGHT AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY;THE RELIGIOUS MOVEMENT IN MICHIGAN POLITICS; and THE COORS CONNECTION, told the Free Press that the "membership of the Council comprises the elite of the radical right in America..."
