Sen. Russ Feingold, who I watched on Sunday morning announce a motion to censor president Bush is grandstanding. Why? He sat there on This Week and said that George Bush broke the law. If a man broke the law, you don't censor him, you write up articles of impeachment, you go to the authorities, you get the man arrested you try the man. You don't censor him. This is why the Democratic party is in the toilet bowl. Half stepping when they should be coming full force.
What is more disturbing is that I don't even think Sen. Feingold has a clue what constitutional authority the president has regarding wiretaps. Mr Stephanopolous gave Feingold a clear open to dissect the Bush administration's argument and he failed miserably. Somebody send Sen. Feingold the "American Big Man" series so he can familiarize himself with the case.
