I'm going to be doing far less COVID posting because I've written enough about it and at this point, if you read the blog regularly and still believe what the 'authorities" are saying, well, you just want to be dumb. That said, I couldn't pass up on a report I saw that just underscores the idiocy of the current situation.
60 cases? That's quite a bit from one event.
SAN JOSE — The coronavirus outbreak at Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center after a well-meaning staff member pranced through the Emergency Department in an air-powered tree costume on Christmas Day swelled to 60 cases Tuesday, according to Kaiser.
Ok. So a person with COVID but allegedly no symptoms entered a hospital ER and 60 people got infected. Lets continue on.
said all 60 cases involved employees who were in the ER on Christmas Day. In addition, doctors have contacted 70 patients who were treated and discharged from the ER on the holiday and Covid tests are being “made available” to them.
So just so we're clear. All of them were in the same department and present on the same day.
The outbreak has drawn international attention and remains perplexing. Not only were staff members wearing masks in the ER, as required, but the first doses of vaccinations had been administered to some Kaiser employees roughly five days or so before the outbreak. However, the effectiveness of vaccines doesn’t kick in, experts say, until about 10 days later and even then would be about 50 percent.
All wearing masks you say? Are you sure? I mean I would have preferred that they said that they weren't wearing masks at the time. Because at least then the Mask Narrative(tm) would be intact. But the claim here is that they all wore masks DURING THE EVENT in question.
She also questioned how staff members who didn’t start their shifts until that afternoon and had no contact with the woman in the costume still tested positive.
So look. If anybody has access to The Good Shit(tm) when it comes to quality masks, it's ER staff. No?
I mean shouldn't they have access to multiple masks a day? Shouldn't they have KN95 masks? Well they didn't say. And understand, if they had on N95 masks and STILL got infected you know YOU with your flimsy disposable masks that specifically say that they are NOT MEDICAL GRADE and DO NOT PREVENT VIRAL INFECTION have no chance.
You do understand that right?
So to summarize: An individual walked around an ER for ten minutes and infected 60 people who were medical professionals WEARING MASKS.
Are you WOKE yet?
Let me repeat what I've been writing for MONTHS: If your mask lets air out around the sides, top or bottom then the virus gets in the same way. If the mask gets wet, the virus travels THROUGH the mask if it was on the surface. The most "dangerous" place to contract COVID is a public bathroom, particularly if any person who came in before had a bowel movement.
You can understand the science or you can be made dumb by the media. Your choice.
