This clip from the Darkhorse crew is a great explainer on why academia is/has fallen and how further institutions will fall until or unless there is a great deal of pushback. That pushback, as far as I'm concerned, should be a mass removal of those persons, removal of the "grievance studies" masquerading as actual academics (ie: African history classes that can be properly taught without the grievance sub [or super] text)

Realtime commentary over deGrasse's Valuetainment interview.
I remember back in the day when I was sympathetic to feminism. I would dare say that I may have been considered a feminist male.
Yeah, yeah yeah...
That all came to a halt when I started having disagreements with [certain] women about certain positions that they held. I was told that because I was a man I couldn't speak upon certain subjects.
What?
Yes, no matter how smart I was. No matter what facts I brought to the table, the simple fact that I had a penis (remember this was pre WW Tranny) anything I had to say was null and void.
Well, I was certainly not amenable to THAT position. That situation also made me realize how much of a hypocrite I was for telling non-blacks the same thing: You're not black therefore what you say is of no value.
Thankfully I no longer hold either position. Either you make a sound argument with supporting evidence or you do not. I don't care who you are or what your position may be. If you're correct, you're correct. But back to the feminists. I foresaw that their rigidity and devotion to oppression olympics would be their own undoing. Ultimately they would bring great harm to women while having so called "good intentions". See once they played the "you can't speak unless you are this..." and "this [act] is inherently oppressive", the death spiral is unavoidable. Here's the latest example:
I'm not clear as to who this "support" is supposed to be, but I doubt the tranny in question is a paying customer.
"On Friday, the video game company Limited Run Games fired their community manager, a woman named Kara Lynn, after a far-left trans activist using the name Purple Tinker demanded the company either fire Lynn because she followed conservative users on Twitter such as Ian Miles Cheong and Libs of Tik Tok, or lose their support. "
That's an aside though. A man in a dress got an actual woman fired because HE didn't like Her follow list.
Welcome to the "you have no rights that a tranny must respect" world. You paved the way for it.
""The community manager for @LimitedRunGames, @/KaraLynne0326, is a transphobe who follows a veritable who's who of right-wing transphobic creeps.Unless and until she is fired from the company permanently, I am not giving them another single dime. (CW: Transphobia)," Purple Tinker tweeted at the company on January 6 at 9:06 am.
At 5:40 pm the same day, on their Twitter account, Limited Run Games announced that Lynn had been fired and wrote "LRG respects all personal opinions, however we remain committed to supporting an inclusive culture. Upon investigating a situation, an employee was terminated. Our goal as a company is to continue to foster a positive and safe environment for everyone.""
This company fired the employee in less than 24 hours of this posting. Think about that. They fired this person for reasons that had nothing to do with their job performance. There wasn't even the hint of treating a customer disrespectfully. This random man in a dress just "atted" a company and that company just did their bidding.
Now THAT's POWER.
Say can a random white person get a black person fired within 24 hours by sending a tweet to their employer ?
Asking for the local white supremacist.
Oh and apparently the tranny in question is an advocate for statutory rape:
wrote user Sophia Narwitz, who added screen grabs of Purple Tinker advocating for sex between adults and minors.
That's what this game company wants as customers.
Strange times.
Hard to be sympathetic though. The warning signs were there for anyone paying attention. Shoulda spoke up when those feminists were going off the rails.
In the move The Hunt for Red October, captain Ramius has a conversation with and then kills the political officer. The purpose of this political officer was to make sure that no one on ship has "bad thoughts" or acts in a manner not acceptable by the Russian state. Such officers were discussed in the great book The Gulag Archipelago. A hall mark of these communist regimes are officers of the state who enforce political correctness among the people. Don't want any reactionaries out there. In America such a thing was the subject of ridicule as free people under this thing called "democracy" don't do such things.
Do you all remember when that Charlie Hebdo massacre? Remember how it was all "Je Suis Charlie Hebdo"?Remember Salmon Rushdie and his Satanic Verses? Oh how he got supported for being "so brave."
Ya'll remember the art exhibit in Brooklyn NY which featured among other things, a crucifix in a jar of urine? I do. I went and saw for myself. A lot of people were upset about that, yet the entire concept of freedom of expression won out.
"Erika López Prater, an adjunct professor at Hamline University, said she knew many Muslims have deeply held religious beliefs that prohibit depictions of the Prophet Muhammad. So last semester for a global art history class, she took many precautions before showing a 14th-century painting of Islam’s founder."
The prohibition against showing Mohammed only applies to Muslims. Period. When a Muslim tries to impose his strictures on you when you are not in a Muslim country is to tell them to flip off.
"In the syllabus, she warned that images of holy figures, including the Prophet Muhammad and the Buddha, would be shown in the course. She asked students to contact her with any concerns, and she said no one did."
Personally, I think she went above and beyond.
In class, she prepped students, telling them that in a few minutes, the painting would be displayed, in case anyone wanted to leave.
Again, above and beyond. Secondly, the 'about to be offended" students had the opportunity to leave. They did not. You should know what that means.
"After Dr. López Prater showed the image, a senior in the class complained to the administration. Other Muslim students, not in the course, supported the student, saying the class was an attack on their religion. They demanded that officials take action."
So after being told it would happen, told it was OK to vacate the premises, they waited to be offended and then got their gang together.
This is not about an image.
Hamline’s president, Fayneese S. Miller, co-signed an email that said respect for the Muslim students “should have superseded academic freedom.”
Say what?
"“To look upon an image of the Prophet Muhammad, for many Muslims, is against their faith,” Dr. Miller’s statement said, adding, “It was important that our Muslim students, as well as all other students, feel safe, supported and respected both in and out of our classrooms.”"
This is that DEI talk. "sage supported and respected".Those students were in no danger. No person has an obligation to support any and everything some other person does or says, nor do all religious feelings (which this wasn't really about) have to be respected.
"“As a Muslim and a Black person, I don’t feel like I belong, and I don’t think I’ll ever belong in a community where they don’t value me as a member, and they don’t show the same respect that I show them.”"
The above quite is from a Sudanese student. My first response to her is that I KNOW the shit you left behind to come to the US, I can nearlhy guarantee that she is receiving more welcome at that school than at home (where being in the wrong area while being the wrong ethnic group could be a death sentence.)
Secondly she has NOT shown respect to the community she NOW finds herself in. If she understood that she wouldn't be speaking that nonsense. What she does know is that the magic words "Black" and "Muslim" create instant fear among the white woke.
As Dr. López Prater predicted, Ms. Wedatalla reached out to administrators. Dr. López Prater, with Ms. Baker’s help, wrote an apology, explaining that sometimes “diversity involves bringing contradicting, uncomfortable and coexisting truths into conversation with each other.”
Stop with the apologizing
"Dr. López Prater said she was ready to move on. She had teaching jobs at other schools. But on Nov. 7, David Everett, the vice president for inclusive excellence, sent an email to all university employees, saying that certain actions taken in an online class were “undeniably inconsiderate, disrespectful and Islamophobic.”".And there we have it folks, the political officer (DEI employee) spoke up to make sure the masses understood the official narrative.
"In interviews, several Islamic art scholars took issue with the idea that Dr. López Prater’s intent was to disrespect the prophet, and said that it was nothing like the cartoons in Charlie Hebdo, the French satirical magazine that had reprinted mocking cartoons of Prophet Muhammad. That led to the deadly 2015 attack at the magazine’s offices, which the scholars also denounced."
I agree that it was not the intent of the instructor to disrespect her students or "The Prophet". Indeed, I would say that as a professional doing her job it should be fireable to do so while teaching. However; I do not draw such a line for the Charlie Hebdo cartoons which I posted here to the blog at the time. Muslim strictures apply to Muslims only. If there are a set of people who want to mock The Prophet, they have a right, in a liberal democracy to do so. I don't have to like it. You cannot make me look at it or make me draw such things, but you cannot stop others from doing so and definitely cannot murder them for it.
The adminstration should have handled the situation this way:
Why didn't you leave when the instructor told you the image was going to be shown?
Well this is how a liberal democracy works: You don't get to impose your restrictions on other people. If you have a problem with this, you are welcome to not return next semester. If you continue to harass the instructor you will be removed from the university without a refund. I guarantee an entire different attitude would emerge.
Secondly, get these political officers out of these universities.
I ran across this substack and had to share. I'll repeat here that for me March 2020 represented a turning point. It was a point where the things I assumed were shared understandings, and limits' among Americans turned out to be wrong. I was very aware that the left in particular had a thing about free speech. But to see them go to the point where 50% of them were good with imprisoning people for questioning the government and for refusing to participate in experimental medical procedures was a wake up call.
To see elected officials not only do completely unconstitutional things but would go on national TV and say that the things like the founding documents are "above their pay grade" (and therefore not their consideration or restraint) was shocking. Worse though is that citizens subject to these blatant violation of natural rights RE-ELECTED most of these people to second or more terms. And this is the topic here. How people in the so called "democratic" west went nuts because they were made to be afraid. Made to be afraid by "leaders" who, in my estimation, are having their strings pulled by other organizations with ulterior motives that *require* the destruction of nation states.
I present to you
Unless you don't follow football and don't follow the news or anything, you know that Damar Hamlin had a heart attack after being tackled (or tackling, I'm not clear on the details). The Vaccine Guarda(tm) is out in force today to try to dismiss people who are saying that the heart attack was the result of his "vaccination". A few short words on this.
Firstly, as of this writing no one has revealed Hamlin's vaccine status. We can assume he has taken at least one shot given the NFL's mandate (along with other professional leagues),. But assumption is not proof. I'd like to see proof one way or the other.
Secondly, given what is known about the rates of myocarditis in young men from the mRNA products, it is reasonable to ask if Hamlin was "vaccinated". It is NOT reasonable to assume (even if that assumption proves true later). Yes, Athletes have dropped dead in various sports before Covid. What is different now is that we have a known external agent that is a likely cause. I personally have heard of a number of young(ish) people who have popped up with strokes in the past few weeks. I find that strange. I ask The Question but no one has an answer.
I feel there are a few reasons for this failure to tell. Firstly, if it turns out there is no congenital reason or provable external cause other than "vaccine" then the person who is now "vaccine injured" will likely feel lots of shame. People do their best to avoid shame.
The next issue is that there will be anger. Not only the immediate victim but to all the other people who took the shot whether voluntarily or not. They will now be in fear for their lives, wondering if and when their turn for a "stopped clock" is. This will result in lawsuits. I guarantee you that if players can prove a link to the mRNA products they were "forced" to take, they can afford expensive lawyers and they will class action the F*** out of the NFL. And don't think other major leagues are watching this.
Not like they weren't warned.
Here's another thing: Quiet as it's kept a lot of people have fake "vaccine" cards. I don't know the percentage but a lot of doctors got paid to squirt the shot into the air and mark the card.
This makes Hamlin's status all the more important. If he isn't "vaxxed" did he get COVID and suffer heart damage? That's also a possibility. Matter of fact since the mRNA products do not keep anyone from getting COVID he could be one of those people who got COVID and heart damage.
But this fake vax card thing is real and who knows how many players are playing under fake cards. If they admit it, they potentially risk their careers. You best believe there's a whole different take on this subject by those athletes that paid the doctor and those who did not.
I watched the Tour De France over the summer and was glad to see none of the cyclists fall out. At least that I know of. However; there were some high profile cyclists who came up with heart issues prior to the race. I have questions as to the status of those cyclists. Professional cycling puts an extreme amount of stress on the heart, particularly in the end stage (and the mountains). However; that stress is ongoing rather than short sharp efforts like soccer and football. That could be a difference.
In the end though, given the propaganda surrounding COVID and the mRNA products, the public should be informed either way. After all, if we the public were being compelled to show our status to do things like eat in a restaurant, we can be told if a young athletic and presumably healthy young man has a heart attack while playing a contact sport.
