Boldly Lying

I've said many times here that I do not consume mainstream media. This is because I realized that they were propaganda outlets. It amazes me that there are STILL people who tune into "the news' and think they are being informed. Never mind that they TELL you that they are propagandizing you.

What do I mean they TELL you? Simple. Read the headlines:

"What you need to know about...."

"How to think about..."

"Scientists say..."

"Experts agree..."

"[event] will make you outraged..."

"You should be outraged that...."

And there are more. All of these titles are actually [not so sublminal] means of programming. In NLP they teach that in order to get people to do or think things you want them to, you use directing language. The reason is that the brain has to assume all input is true AND THEN it evaluates the info. The 'did I really see that"? feeling you get *After* observing a thing. So these titles use suggestive language to set you up to agree with whatever they have to say. In fact, since most people will not read the full article (in the case of written media) the article itself IS the programming.

"Controversial cartoon..."

What? Controversial to whom? When?

But the title doesn't tell you that. The title tells you that the cartoon is "controversial" and your brain accepts it. It's only when you are 'woke", that is you protect your subconscious by actively querying incoming input, that you begin to reflectively ask the right questions. Now I wrote all that because yesterday we saw the last big lie about the election go "boom"

Yeah. Really convenient that the story gets retracted after the desired result. But to me, the breadth of this big lie is the real story:

The most scandalous thing, Adams, argues, is that several different newsrooms “claimed they independently ‘confirmed’ the original ‘scoop’ with anonymous sources of their own.”

NBC News reported it “confirmed The Post’s characterization of the Dec. 23 call through a source familiar with the conversation.”

USA Today claimed a “Georgia official speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal matters confirmed the details of the call.”

ABC News reported: “President Donald Trump phoned a chief investigator in Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office asking the official to ‘find the fraud’ and telling this person they would be a ‘national hero’ for it, an individual familiar with the matter confirmed to ABC News.”

PBS NewsHour and CNN likewise appeared to claim they independently “confirmed” the story through their own anonymous sources.

How do you confirm something that is not true? Let's be clear here: A Georgia official, assuming that person actually exists, knowingly made false statements in regards to the election to the media for the purposes of "influencing" an election.

And this person hasn't been arrested?

And if this person doesn't exist then each of these outlets outright lied. If that is the case then they should all be sued into bankruptcy by not only the Trump organization but investigated by the DOJ.

Either way what we know is that people at various levels of power are willing to lie to get the results they want. Now consider what's been going on for the past year.

Makes me think of a saying I saw online:

We know they're lying.

They know they're lying.

They know that we know they're lying.

They don't care because there are no consequences.
