Revisiting Sweden

Now that the colder weather has settled in for the north, we can start looking at COVID data for Sweden.

Below I have a chart of the pandemic for Sweden. Cases since Feb 15 is on the top and deaths since Feb 15 on the bottom. They are aligned perfectly.

As you can see, Sweden had a nasty bump of ~100 deaths a day between March and April. We also see that they have been flat since August 4. Meanwhile, cases increased and is MORE than it was at their peak on June 29 and yet deaths remain flat at near zero levels.

What this tells us is that once enough of the population has been affected and, yes, unfortunately, the most vulnerable have died off, the pandemic, death wise, is over with.  Remember that at it's peak, deaths were 1/5 of cases. That's 20%.

Once again, look at that chart, deaths spiked quickly once cases rose to 500 back in March. Cases are now at 2000 and not a bit of movement in deaths.  None.

Sweden did not put face diapers on their citizens. It instituted limited rules on gatherings. The data is clear here. The masks are not the key. "Stopping the Spread" is hysteria propagated by socialist leaning (or actual) leaders seeking population control and other bodies looking to enact social and economic changes that have nothing to do with public health.

I'm no longer arguing with pro lockdown people or mask people. I'm done with that. It is high time THEY have to explain the above chart. It's time for these silly ass rules to go into the dustbin, for the so-called authorities to be held to account (and I'm thinking jail time for real).
